The kitchen was several smaller spaces that were opened up to create a large kitchen/office/family room space. We eliminated a wall between the former kitchen and a small office to create the cooktop peninsula. There was a wall of closets housing the washer and dryer that was taken out to add space to their future family tv watching area. The washer and dryer were relocated to the master bath.
We selected a white quartzite countertop and a beautiful textural tile backsplash that creates a warm, white kitchen.
They are big entertainers so a nook in the kitchen for their cookbook collection creates visual interest and a punch of color and personal mementos.
The couple is very involved in local charities so the homeowner can sit at her desk while watching the activity in the kitchen.
The floors in all the renovated bathrooms are all show stoppers. We selected warm hues of gray and beige to keep them timeless. Using honeycomb and chevron patterns on the floor along with quartz counters makes them feel classic but updated.
In the hall bath, we designed the shower with metal accents to draw your eye into the deep space and add some detail and excitement to the shower.
We coordinated their existing furnishings into the new color palette and kept the walls in soft greens, grays, and creams which tied together the old and the new.
